The Istanbul ufo sightings

The ufo footage..

This extraordinary incident took place in a compound in Kumburgaz/Istanbul was witnessed by many residents and filmed by the same night guard Yalcin Yalman as it was in 2007The images captured are expected to have a tremendous impact throughout the world and be listed as "the most important UFO/extraterrestrial images ever filmed in the all World" During the 4 months, between May and September 2008, many nationwide UFO sightings were reported from different parts of Turkey, while some of them were filmed and photographed and aired. Within the same period of time, these objects also witnessed by the residents of Kumburgaz/Yeni Kent Compound, caught on video several times by a night guard named Yalcin Yalman and these footages are considered as the closest and the most significant images ever filmed around the world. In these amazing UFO video footages which would likely have major repercussions around the world and be listed as “the most significant UFO videos ever”, physical forms of UFO’s and their metallic structures are clearly noticeable. What’s more important is that in the close-up of some footages of the objects, entities in them can be distinctly made out. We, as Sirius UFO Space Science Research Center firstly, spoke with all the witnesses separetly then did the detailed analysis of the full footage of 2 hours 30 mn. long videos with the participation of our members of science board... We have enlarged the video images of the footages, did all the detailed analysis and checked their pixels and went through the all footage frame by frame. After doing all the necessary analysis which went on for several weeks, we came to a definite conclusion with no doubts that these are “100% genuine footages”!... The objects sighted in the aforementioned footages that have a structure that is made of specific material are definitely not made up by any kind of computer animation nor are they any form of special effects used for simulation in a studio or for a video effect therefore in conclusion it was decided that the sightings were neither a mockup or hoax. And it is concluded that these objects in the sightings that have physical and material structures do not belong in any category such as; planes, helicopters, meteors, Venus, Mars, satellites, fire balls, Chinese lantern, fire balls, wheather ballons, natural or atmospheric phenomenon… etc. and but rather fall into the category of UFO’s…We came to a point that leading scientific research centers around the world have been setting up research centers on Ufology, furthermore, high-ranking retired military and government officials, astronauts, congressmen, scientists, senior military commanders, colonels, generals, jet fighter and civilian pilots, radar operators, top intelligence officers of CIA and FBI, department of defense officials have been releasing documents they possess regarding UFO’s and openly revealing facts to the public. Now it’s time for world governments to disclose the “UFO Reality”. Such a disclosure is critically important for all humanity and it would certainly be a turning point for the history of our planet. The disclosure of extraterrestrial life would also launch an unprecedented era, unify humanity by the awareness of being earthlings ensuring peace, harmony and unity consciousness and lead our dear planet to a new age of intercommunication and wisdom. The recent harsh cycle our planet has been going through marks the period in which ecological, social, energy, health problems worsen day by day. We believe that deteriorating circumstances make it vital for our government officials take a step to reveal the truth about UFO’s. "BREAKTHROUGH DEVELOPMENT ABOUT THE KUMBURGAZ SIGHTING IN TURKEY!!HISTORICAL STATEMENT FROM TUBITAK(National Science and Technology Research Board of Turkey)THE OBJECTS CAPTURED ON FILM IN THE KUMBURGAZ SIGHTINGS ARE UFO'S
The UFOs, sighted at Kumburgaz, caused great shock waves around the world and were part of the written and visual media from China to Russia and Brazil to Switzerland and will go down in the World UFO literature as one of the most significant UFO sightings. Nearly a dozen of residents at the Yeni Kent compound witnessed these sightings filmed by the night watchman named Yalcın Yalman. First of all, the Sirius UFO Space Sciences Research Center studied the footage in great detail for ten days, and as a result of the study the Sirius UFO Space Sciences Research Center concluded that the UFO sightings were geniniue and not a hoax. On January 17, 2008 the Sirius UFO Space Sciences Research held a press conference at the Dedeman Hotel flocked by the high number of attendees. The incident was announced to the public at this press conference and the aforementioned sightings were part of the news covered in both local and foreign media, TV, and newspapers as well as Internet portals. Following these developments some parties who appeared on various TV shows, starting with Prof. Adnan Öktem from the Istanbul University Department of Astronomy Sciences, Prof. Mehmet Emin Ozel from the18 March University Department of Physics and Prof. Kerem Doksat from the Istanbul University Department of Psychiatry claimed with great prejudice that the footages taken in Kumburgaz were a hoax made up by a mockup or computer animation without having conducted an analysis or any kind of study.Upon these developments the Sirius UFO Space Sciences Center CEO Haktan Akdogan took part in a National TV show and stated live in front of the cameras, that he would give the film to Prof. Adnan Oktem who wanted to have the original film of the sightings in order to have it studied at a Scientific Institution owned by the state that is highly reliable and influential, called TUBITAK The Science and Technology Research Board of Turkey. Prof. Oktem stated that he wanted the film to be analyzed at TUBITAKs National Observatory Center in Antalya this way the truth would be revealed. Afterwards both parties decided to go to TUBITAKs National Observatory Center in Antalya, accompanied by the host of the aforementioned TV show and the TV cameramen. When they got there, Haktan Akdogan handed over the original film to Prof. Oktem, who submitted the film for analysis to the scientists on duty at TUBITAK. TUBITAK, as a result of the thorough analysis it conducted it prepared an official report that stated: "The objects sighted in the aforementioned footage that have a structure that is made of specific material are definitely not made up by any kind of computer animation nor are they any form of special effects used for simulation in a studio or for a video effect therefore in conclusion it was decided that the sightings were neither a mockup or hoax. " Furthermore in the last part of the report, it was concluded that these objects in the sightings that have physical and material structures do not belong in any category (such as; planes, helicopters, meteors, Venus, Mars, satellites, fire balls, Chinese lantern etc.) and but rather fall into the category of UFOs. Cyprus is not that far away from Istanbul - Here is a story from 1973 which tells of a ufo crashing in the area!
The day the aliens came
By Nathan Morley

Is the mystery of an unexplained crash in the Troodos in 1973 about to be solved? )
A BRITISH UFO researcher may hold a vital clue that could help prove a flying saucer crashed into the Troodos mountains 35 years ago. Gary Heseltine, the editor of the popular UFO Monthly magazine, has taken possession of several items of unidentified debris collected by a former British soldier who claims to have witnessed a UFO fall to earth in 1973. In his detailed account, Corporal Tom Clarke, who was part of a six man British Army unit on a late night patrol recalled what happened when spotted strange lights in the sky.
“We were all awoken at about 2am by a brilliant bluish dazzling bright light in the sky, what happened next is hard to explain. There was not an explosion, but we were all hit by a shockwave and fell flat to the ground. The light just disappeared or went out,” Clarke recalled.
The team of dazed soldiers quickly found the crash site which was located some 200 metres down the mountain and additional military personal were called in to investigate. The soldiers were ordered to collect debris and place it into black plastic bags; Corporal Clarke managed to conceal some small pieces of golden tinted foil from amongst the wreckage – which is now in the hands of UFO Magazine.
“After what seemed like hours a halt was called and we were all lined up and told that under no circumstances were we to talk about what we had been doing and that we were forbidden to take anything from the site under threat of Court Martial“. We were then all taken from the area by helicopter and flown to Alexander Barracks in Dhekelia where we were interviewed separately.
I was asked to describe exactly what I had seen and was warned again not to discuss with anyone the events that had occurred. Soon afterwards all six men who witnessed the crash were posted to different foreign locations and nothing more was heard about events of that night in 1973-- until now. Gary Heseltine is convinced that Clarke has given a credible and genuine account of the mysterious events of 1973. “You have to appreciate for someone to come and contact a person like me they have to be quite serious and determined to discover more about their experience. Mr Clarke has kept records, photos and gave me a very clear precise account of what happened, I doubt very much this is a fantasy or made up,” he told the Sunday Mail. “I have the artifacts Mr Clarke collected from the crash site and am now looking at having them examined by experts to determine what they are or where they are from. From everything that has been described I would have to label this a UFO event. Something obviously crashed and by the response of the military it was something highly secret,” he added. Unsurprisingly, in a statement to the Sunday Mail, a spokesman for the British Ministry of Defence claimed they had no knowledge of any UFO crash in Cyprus. “The MoD examines reports solely to establish whether UK airspace may have been compromised by hostile or unauthorised military activity. Unless there is evidence of a potential threat, there is no attempt to identify the nature of each sighting reported,” he said. The MoD remained 'open-minded' about aliens, he added.
However, Paphos based UFO expert John Knowles, who has enjoyed two UFO encounters himself, told the Sunday Mail that he would certainly not rule out that a crash could have happened. “It is feasible that something like this could easily have occurred without anybody noticing it, or it could have been covered up. There is a lot of fear associated with this subject, many authorities are reluctant to admit that there are things that they can’t control and I think that’s part of any cover up activity”. The Troodos range, which is home to several military communication stations, has been location of dozens of reported “UFO incidents” over the past half century. Speaking from the UK, famed psychic Uri Geller told the Sunday Mail how he watched in disbelief as a disc-shaped object floated above his head in Troodos before it "zoomed off at incredible speed" in 1961. “Actually I had two UFO experiences whilst I was living in Cyprus, the first in 1959 and then again a few years later,” he said“. I have never really spoke about this openly, but I saw a UFO when I was up in the Troodos and once whilst I was walking my dog on a beach near Kyrenia. On both occasions I saw flying objects, they were not planes or helicopters and I saw them both times in broad daylight”. Geller told the Sunday Mail he would never forget what he saw in the skies above Cyprus, despite the fact the incidents happened over 40-years ago. “On both occasions the craft did an amazingly fast zig-zag, then the shot off at a speed no human craft could ever achieve.”
One theory as to why the alleged Troodos incident is now only seeing the light of day is because UFOs were of extreme military interest during the Soviet era and it’s believed that the USA, UK and USSR were all actively seeking to capture an alien craft. It has recently been revealed that during the Cold War the Soviet Union’s Air Force had standing orders to intercept and shoot down any detected UFO in Soviet airspace. The Kremlin was apparently sure that the United States had recovered some advanced alien technology from the Roswell crash site in the 1940s. Whether alien activity or natural phenomena, reports of UFOs have flooded in this summer from all across the island. If aliens are choosing Cyprus as a holiday destination, it appears it is becoming more popular, as the number if sightings has dramatically shot up. In the past year alone dozens of accounts of local UFO activity have appeared on local forums and message boards and even Uri Geller admits he is aware of the increased activity in this region. “Recently the most extraordinary UFO’s were filmed for 20 minutes outside Istanbul, and if you think geographically it’s pretty close to Cyprus.
I know there have been lots of sightings in that arena lately. If people see a UFO they really should report it.”
TURKISH UFO STORY
On 28 August 1915 during the final days of severe fighting at Hill 60, Suvla bay, during the Gallipoli campaign, in which the Australians were participating a most extraordinary event took place.
The 28 August was a beautiful clear day, but it was observed that six or eight loaf of bread clouds all alike were hovering over Hill 60. These clouds despite a strong breeze did not move.
A British regiment, The First Fourth Norfolk, of several hundred men was seen marching up a sunken road towards Hill 60, but one of these clouds was hovering over the road. The regimeent marched into the cloud but did not come out to deploy and fight at Hill 60.
After the last file had disappeared into the cloud it unobtrusively moved away and so did the other clouds.
The regiment was posted as missing or wiped out and on Turkey surrendering in 1918 the first thing Britain demanded of Turkey was the return of this regiment. Turkey replied that she had neither captured this regiment nor made contact with it and did not know it existed. A British regiment in 1914-18 consisted of any number between 800 and 4000 men. This is one of the most remarkable and unexplained mysteries of modern times. Was a whole British regiment taken up by a huge UFO hovering in a cloud above the sunken road near Hill 60?
